DOW 8818 YL-CF is a yellow compound, Cadmium free, for manufacturing of pipes and fittings for gas distribution pipeline. The base resin is a 1-Hexene copolymer Medium Density Polyethylene. This resin presents good processability, excellent stress cracking resistance (ESCR) and good performance at low temperatures. The long term hydrostatic strength (LTHS) at 20°C is greater than 8 MPa, and then is classified as PE80 according to ISO 9080 standard. Complies with:
