RAMAPET P184 is a slow crystallizing and non-reheat PET resin for thick walled applications that require optimal transparency, like refillable bottles, cosmetic bottles and jars and preforms for big containers like 5 Gallon. RAMAPET P184 has an IV of 0.84, has good optical properties and the mechanical properties are representative for a PET resin with IV of 0.84. RAMAPET thermoplastic polyesters are condensation polymers produced by a continuous melt-phase polymerization process followed by a solid-state polymerization process.
