It is suitable for use at processing temperatures up to 300°C/572°F. Lusin® Clean OH 311: Removes, within the operational temperature range, deposits and encrustations from screw, cylinder and nozzle Can be used for cleaning of screw when color or material is changed Cleans gently as it contains no abrasives or solvents Odorless Requires no hazard markings according to USDOT regulations Applications Use Lusin® Clean OH 311 for purging during the processing of PVC. For engineering plastics such as PS, SAN, ABS, PC, PMMA, POM, PA Lusin® Clean G 320 is recommended. For PP and PE, Lusin® Clean G 315 will provide optimal cleaning efficiency. Application Instructions 1. The quantity of Lusin® Clean OH 311 required per cleaning process corresponds to approximately 10 times the maximum injection weight of PS - refer also to the Dosage Table. 2. Empty cylinder. 3. Fill hopper with Lusin® Clean OH 311. Adjust the cleaning temperature as near as possible to the requirements of the previous material and plasticize Lusin® Clean OH 311 through the cylinder. 4. In case of stubborn residues, plasticize only half of the Lusin® Clean OH 311, stop the screw and allow the Lusin® Clean OH 311 to soften the contamination for about 15 minutes. After this period, plasticize the rest of the Lusin® Clean OH 311 and fill the hopper with the new material. 5. Run through a small quantity of the new granulate to expel the rest of the Lusin® Clean OH 311 from the cylinder. Begin production. Description
Lusin® Clean OH 311 is a granular purging compound based on a thermoplastic material with a built-in cleaner. It is suitable for use at processing temperatures up to 300°C/572°F. Lusin® Clean OH 311:

Applications
Use Lusin® Clean OH 311 for purging during the processing of PVC. For engineering plastics such as PS, SAN, ABS, PC, PMMA, POM, PA Lusin® Clean G 320 is recommended. For PP and PE, Lusin® Clean G 315 will provide optimal cleaning efficiency.
