Profax PL338 is High Crystalline Propylene Homopolymer with an extremely high stiffness, barrier properties, high gloss, good transparency and capable of maintaining mechanical properties even at high temperatures. It is designed for BOPP, CAST film applications where high rigidity and very good thermal characteristics are required. Main applications include packaging tapes and high stiffness (TPP), flowers and textile packaging, sterilizable and pasteurizable food packaging, printing lamination, tobacco film and compounding products. The base resin in Profax PL338 meets the FDA requirements contained in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.1520. |
