DEXFLEX 1011E is a thermoplastic olefinic elastomer (TPO) designed for use as an automotive airbag cover with requirements to deploy at temperatures between -40°C and +100°C. This material is being designed to provide low-temperature toughness in combination with higher stiffness. DEXFLEX 1011E material will be provided mold-in-color or black. DEXFEX 1011E material is engineered for passenger-side-, knee-or Thorax-airbag applications.
