Lusin® Clean LD 250 can be applied without interruption of the film production process. It is used to clean contaminated screws, cylinders and heads or to achieve rapid, efficient color changes in the production of high-grade multilayer or single layer films. Lusin® Clean LD 250 can be used in the production process of films requiring NSF, including USDA, & FDA 21CFR certification. Use Lusin® Clean LD 250 at an application temperature up to 250°C/482°F. Application Instructions 1. For dosing quantities, refer to Dosage Table. 2. Increase film thickness to 200 µm. 3. Run the material in the hopper to the lowest possible level and then refill with the preweighed quantity of Lusin® Clean LD 250. 4. Adjust the film speed to prevent tearing off of film. 5. After the Lusin® Clean LD 250 has been processed, run the hopper to the lowest possible level and then fill the new material. 6. After the last traces of Lusin® Clean LD 250 disappear from the film, adjust the film thickness and continue production. Note: When heavily contaminated screws, cylinders and heads are being cleaned, particles can cause tearing of the film. Should this happen, the film end should be rethreaded and the cleaning process continued. Storage/Handling Lusin® Clean LC 250 has a shelf life of two (2) years and should be stored its in original sealed packing in a dry indoor area.
