HD-L01 was developed to improve the impact toughness of polylactic acid (PLA). It is recommended for use in opaque applications where transparency is not an issue. Typical use levels range from 5.0 - 10.0% (by weight) and the additive can be processed in the same conditions as PLA resin, as PLA is the carrier for this system. Typical benefits of using HD-L01 are: Excellent dispersion Convenient use: mix HD-L01 pellets with PLA pellets or feed separately Dry, easy to handle pellet form Custom formulating is available on request for other additives in PLA.
