ISPLEN® PR 280 P1M is a polypropylene random copolymer with high fluidity intended for injection moulding of highly transparent articles. It is characterised by a specific molecular structure that combines good flow properties, good impact resistance at ambient temperatures and low warpage. ISPLEN® PR 280 P1M contains an additive package that permits the dispersion of static charges accumulated on the surface, preventing anti-aesthetic dust patterns during storage or exhibition and, besides, reducing internal stresses and making it easier to extract the pieces from the mould. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS ISPLEN® PR 280 P1M is particularly suitable for applications requiring high transparency, good processability, low tendency to warp and moderate impact resistance: Houseware containers (square and cylindrical shape). Transparent boxes and crates for domestic and professional storage. Caps, lids and closures (screw caps, with living hinge, smooth touch for cosmetic...) Aesthetic appliances: furniture, toys, electrical equipment, sports, leisure, cups... Recommended melt temperature range from 210 to 250°C. Processing conditions should be optimised for each production line.
