SABIC® PP 621P is a newly designed random copolymer polypropylene particularly for cast film applications with high clarity. Products produced out of SABIC® PP 621P have a high clarity, excellent sealing performance and high puncture resistance. The molecular structure of this gade is tailored for high performance processing. SABIC® PP 621P does not contain anti-block and slip agent. A grade with anti-block and slilp agent is available as SABIC® PP 622L. Applications: SABIC PP 621P is typically used in applications like food packaging, lamination film, stationary film, textile packaging, flower packaging, and hygiene packaging. SABIC®PP 621P is also a partner resin of LLDPE for power stretch film to which high holding force is required in order to assure good pallet stability. Specific applications are: sparkling beverage, building & construction materials and in general unitized heavy goods. SABIC®PP 621P has a good rheological matching with LLDPE which result in an easy process-ability (see graph on second page). The product mentioned herein is in particular not tested and therefore not validated for use in pharmaceutical/medical applications. |
