PETROTHENE XL 07414 is especially formulated for use in flame retardant primary insulation for low voltage automotive wire and cable applications (SAE J1128), and for UL applications including 125°C appliance wire and SIS. XL 07414 is a non-tarnishing, non-halogenated, flame retardant chemically crosslinkable compound. Small wire gauges, such as 20-24 AWG, insulated with XL 07414 exhibit higher strip forces than wire insulated with XL 07407. Non-discoloring antioxidant and special active peroxide have been added to ensure thermal stability during processing and optimum curing results. |
