EBA ALCUDIA® CA-3230B is stabilized with HALS (colourless), UV absorber and antioxidants. The main properties of films produced with this compound are high solar radiation resistance, light transmission, diffusion and heat retention. APPLICATIONS Films for greenhouses and tunnels cover. The 200 µm thickness, 1:2:1 three layers coextruded films, with ALCUDIA® CA3431B or CA3430B in the middle layer and ALCUDIA® CA3230B in the external layers, have a lifetime of three continuous agricultural seasons (three winters and 2 summers) in geographical areas where the maximum solar radiation is 160 Kly. Processing conditions should be optimized for each production line because of different rheological properties in coextruded structures. |
