Borcoat BB125E is a chemically modified polypropylene copolymer designed to be used as the tie layer between the epoxy corrosion protection layer and the top-coat polypropylene Borcoat BB108E-1199. The system Borcoat BB125E/Borcoat BB108E-1199 fulfils the requirements of NFA 49-711, DIN 30678, Shell Specification (DEP 31.40.30.31) and prEN 10286 when used in combination with compatible powder epoxy and applied under good manufacturing practice. Borcoat BB125E can be extruded on conventional LDPE extruders with flat die or crosshead. It has excellent adhesion to fusion bonded epoxy and polypropylene. Furthermore, it has superior thermal properties and can be used at operating temperatures within the range of -20°C to 110°C. |
