FRAGOM G G/459 ACR is a flame retardant halogen free polyolefin compound. FRAGOM G G/459 ACR is a flame retardant crosslinkable compound having good temperature index and oxygen index, suitable for cable sheathing and insulation. It is a conveniently grafted compound able to react in presence of moisture and of a catalyst. We suggest our catalyst type MAC/308 PSL to use with low compression and PVC screw. Suitable also for solar cables insulation and sheath adding 5/6% of catalyst GETILAN MAC/300 S. REACTION BETWEEN GRAFTING AND CATALYST These two compounds, separately stored, must be mixed before starting extrusion in the ratio: GRAFTING/CATALYST 95/5 |

CROSSLINKING:Crosslinking of the finished product is obtained by: Immersion of the bobbin in hot water at 85/90°C for two hours (up to 1 mm thickness) Steam treatment at 0,15 bar for 6/8 hours Ambient air crosslinking at natural temperature and moisture, after a right number of days depending on climatic conditions. |
