| Durez® 17983 is a water-soluble, phenol-formaldehyde liquid resin of the one-step type, having a limited water tolerance but capable of self-emulsification when its water tolerance is exceeded. The resin is recommended for treating paper, wood and organic and inorganic fibres to improve strength, moisture resistance and impart other desirable properties, and is suitable for both direct treating and better addition processes. |
