Artenius HOT is a homopolymer of PET (Polyethylene-Terephthalate), delivered in resin pellets. It is recommended for the packaging of products that require a high temperature during cooking, for instance dual ovenable trays for ready meals. It has a high crystallization speed and mechanical strength. Trays made with Artenius HOT plus nucleating additives can resist up to 220°C in conventional ovens and microwaves. This thermal resistance allows trays to be taken directly from the freezer and heated in a microwave oven. |
