TA 2343 HD catalyst masterbatch is used with Kafrit NA cross-linkable PEX-b compound TA 1108 HD to produce potable water tubing. TA 2343 HD contains black pigment and a crosslinking catalyst which will complete the Sioplas System when extruded with PEX-b compounds such as TA 1108 HD. TA 2343 HD contains additives which protect the finished product from long term degradation caused by oxidation, and heat. TA 2343 HD includes a high concentration of high purity carbon black, which results in UV protection when TA 2343 HD is added to the compound at 10%. This is expected to provide UV protection for weathering exposure of the equivalent of 6 months in Florida.
