Varcum 29306 is a two-step epoxy modified, powdered phenolic resin. Production of cutoff wheels, glass-cloth reinforced wheels and high density wheels. Recommended for use in combination with acrylonitrile rubber in heat curing adhesives. Excellent retention of bond strength at elevated temperatures. The epoxy modifier provides added toughness and adhesion. Minimizes wheel cracking and breakage. Alleviates hard, brittle characteristic of unmodified phenolic resin. May be used alone, blended with other powdered grinding wheel resins, used in combination with any of the usual wetting agents and processed utilizing the customary curing cycles. Provides superior adhesion to glass cloth reinforcements.
