DW 405 BNC Film is skived from UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) that has been compounded with a small amount of carbon to render it black. The carbon also provides UV resistance. DW 405 BNC is used as a wear suirface where high abrasion resistance is required, such as the outer covering of hoses for severe service applications. It is also used as an anti-squeak tape for automotive and other mechanical applications. |
