Menzolit® MMC 1600 is a mineral moulding compound based on unsaturated polyester resin. The product is glass fibre reinforced and contains mineral fillers. In case of fire the product doesn't melt, neither does it form droplets nor is smoke generation excessive. The material is compression moulded in heated steel moulds. It is must to work with chrome plated moulds. The product contains no halogens. Menzolit® MMC 1600 is a mineral moulding compound (similar to DMC/BMC) providing of a stone like appearance eg. granite or marble. Chrome plated mould surfaces are required. It is recommended that product thickness is not less than 3mm. |
