AT® 7110 is a low density polyethylene (LDPE) homopolymer. This polymer complies with the requirements of USP PLASTIC Class VI with regard to biocompatibility and CFR 21 177.1520 of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) subject to extraction limitations for specific end use applications. This polymer may be processed using conventional polymer processing equipments including extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, blown film and blow filled seal (BFS) processes. AT® 7110 is used as packaging material for food, nutrient and pharmaceutical ingredients, as well as in applications involving devices and implants. |
