SUMILITERESIN® PR-2243 I is a bis-phenol-A modified novolak phenolic resin. It is generally apply for foundry.

Characteristics

SUMILITERESIN® PR-2243 I is a flake phenolic resin with good properties in foundry manufacture. It is designed in High molecule number and High modified with bis-phenol-A in order to get low thermal expansion, anti peelback and high stick point. It is also improve in bending strength.

SUMILITERESIN® PR-2243 I is preferable add hexamine about 15%/resin when applied in resin coated sand (RCS).
