Europrene® N 2845 is a cold polymerized acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer made at the Porto Torres production facility in Italy. A non staining antioxidant is added during the production process. Europrene® N 2845 is characterised by good processability, medium mineral oil resistance and good flexibility at low temperature. The vulcanization can be performed by sulphur based systems or by peroxides. The low temperature properties can be improved by adding polar plasticizers as synthetic esters of adipic, sebacic or phtalic acids. To improve heat, light and ozone resistance, suitable protective agents as amine or phenolic antioxidants have to be added in the compounding process. Automotive and industrial seals, textile industry articles, oil industry holds, stoppers, stamps, dampers.
