D/W 224 is a skived, tensilzed PTFE that has been sodium napthalene etched on both sides to allow bonding to itself and other substrates within composite construction hoses and similar products. The tensilzing process yields as film with significantly enhanced tensile properties. D/W 224 is finding applications in hydraulic, chemical and other hose constructions where internal bonding to the elastomeric materials is required. |
