MonoSol M7031 is a PVOH based thermoplastic film, soluble in cold water and manufactured using MonoSol's proprietary solution cast technology. MonoSol M7031 is identical to M7030 except for the small amount inclusion of inert fillers to provide a "high slip" (low tack and COF) non-blocking surface. M7031 is more readily converted in a wide range of ambient conditions and preformed bags are more easily handled. Also, fine particlulates do not adhere to the film surface during vertical, form, fill and seal packaging. Standard thicknesses are 38 micron (1.5 mil) and 76 micron (3.0 mil). |
