The Evoprene COGEE range was specially developed to provide materials which will comould or coextrude to engineering thermoplastics (ETPs). This enables, for example, polyamide (nylon) handles or ABS housings to be given a solt touch feel whilst polycarbonate lenses can have gaskets moulded on to provide a weathertight product. The Evoprene COGEE grades are modified Kraton G based compounds. Many of the characteristics exhibited by the Evoprene G and Evoprene Super G ranges are shown by Evoprene COGEE compounds. However, they do have to be processed quite differently to obtain optimum bond strengths and performance characteristics. |
