BIOGRADE BL-F masterbatch is a based on a blend of thermoplastic starch (TPS) with PE/PP. This blendable grade is compatibilised to offer a high level of mechanical strength, outstanding elongation properties and toughness. The resin is based on corn starch which is a renewable material. This thermoplastic starch PE masterbatch can be blended with polyethylene to give controlled lifetime material where degradation time over 1 year are required. Applications
