OCTAL PET products are produced by the latest state-of-the-art technology involving 2R direct high I.V. process. This advanced technology ensures that the properties and quality of PET resin are superior with low crystallinity and low AA generation, thus making it the preferred product for a number of applications. This is a food grade PET copolymer resin with high intrinsic viscosity, designed for carbonated soft drink and water applications. The low degree of crystallinity and reheat ability saves energy and reduces the regeneration of acetaldehyde during downstream processing and blow molding. The high intrinsic viscosity confers good mechanical properties, high burst strength and reduces bottle distension after filling. This product is produced with a unique formula and production technology to offer a reheat ability that improves machine efficiency during blow molding. OCTAL PET RH 03 copolymer resin is considered safe for food packaging applications based on all compliance to USA FDA regulation CFR 21 section 177.1630, EU regulation 10/2011, EC Directive 94/62/EC and the CONEG regulations (USA/CANADA) for heavy metal content. |
