Moplen HF461Y is a polypropylene homopolymer. Its main application is in ultra fine denier melt blown non-wovens, with typical end use products including diapers, sanitary napkins, oil absorbent mats, wipes, masks, air filtration media, and wet tissues. Moplen HF461Y has a high melt flow and narrow molecular weight distribution, which promotes thread line continuity, reduces lint, and spins ultra fine denier fibers. Non-woven fabrics produced with these fibers exhibit better overall properties than those made with conventional polypropylene. Moplen HF461Y can also be processed at a reduced temperature vs. conventional polypropylene. This feature, combined with the product`s high melt flow and excellent spinnabiity and drawability, creates a low energy, high speed, high productivity manufacturing process for non-wovens.
