OCTAL PET products are produced by the latest state-of-the-art technology involving 2R direct high I.V. process. This advanced technology ensures that the properties and quality of PET resin are superior with low crystallinity and low AA generation, thus making it the preferred product for a number of applications. This is a food grade PET copolymer resin suitable for thick and thin PET sheet/film for a variety of applications such as water, carbonated soft drink, alcoholic beverages, hot fill, oil containers and pharmaceutical packaging. This resin is developed and engineered to extend high dimensional strength and mechanical properties. The low degree of crystallinity and heat of fusion are some of the great advantages of OCTAL PET SG 04 to save energy and regeneration of acetaldehyde during the downstream processing. Its application is also suitable for heat set blow molding used for warm fill materials. OCTAL PET SG 04 copolymer resin is considered safe for food packaging applications based on all compliance to USA FDA regulation CFR 21 section 177.1630, EU regulation 10/2011, EC Directive 94/62/EC and the CONEG regulations (USA/CANADA) for heavy metal content. |
