| It is a hard, colorable thermoplastic vulcanized elastomer (TPV) in the thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) series. This material has been developed for automotive interior applications, such as door panels and instrument panels, as skins formed on the surface of rigid polypropylene substrates. In order to suit these applications, the product has low smoothness, high scratch resistance, low volatility (fogging, odor) and "comfortable touch". This brand of Shanduping TPV is a shear rate dependent product that can be processed on conventional single-component and multi-component injection molding equipment. It is a polyolefin-based product that is bonded and compatible with polypropylene and can be recycled online. |
