PETROTHENE NA 220-000 is a high quality, high speed, medium coating-weight resin, manufactured within tight tolerances, that can be drawn down to coating weights of 5 lbs/ream at line speeds of 1,200 ft/min. or higher. NA 220-000 resists neck-in, provides excellent heat sealability and is recommended for flexible packaging, milk cartons, food boards, set-up cartons, industrial papers and foil mounting. This product can be applied to paper, foil, cellophane, polyester film and other base stocks by conventional extrusion coating processes. NA 220-000, along with NA 216-000 (M. 3.7) and NA 217-000 (M. 5.5) form a series of closely related resins developed to assist the converter in fine- tuning the coating system.
