AQUATHENE FR409800 is a colorable flame retardant masterbatch designed specifically for moisture cure applications. When FR409800 is combined with AQ120000 and CM04482 in the correct ratio this formulation is suitable for use in 600-V power cable and control cable applications where UL44 horizontal flame rating and 90°C service in wet locations are required. When melt blended using 30 wt.% FR409800, 5 wt.% CM04482 and 65 wt.% AQ120000, this formulation is designed to meet the following UL requirements: SIS, XHHW, XHHW-2, RHH, RHW, RHW-2, USE and USE-2.
