MonoSol M8630 is a PVOH based thermoplastic film, soluble in cold water and manufactured using MonoSol's proprietary solution cast technology. MonoSol M8630 film has been specially formulated to be completely resistant to alkaline hydrolysis up to 14 pH. Coupling its rapid cold water solubility and compatibility to alkaline compounds, M8630 film is an excellent candidate for Detergent and Disinfectant unit dose packaging. It has good cold crack resistance and can be easily converted on all conventional packaging machines. Standard thicknesses are 25 micron (1.0 mil), 38 micron (1.5 mil), 51 micron (2.0 mil) and 76 micron (3.0 mil).. |
