Silopren* Electro 242-0 is a two-component liquid silicone rubber with a very high flowability especially developed for the economical production of large articles, like hollow core insulators or cable accessories. Due to its low viscosity Silopren* Electro 242-0 can be used in various casting processes if an appropriate metering and mixing equipment is available.

Because of the outstanding properties Silopren* Electro 242-0 is particularly suitable for the following elastomeric articles: hollow core insulators, high voltage plugs, cable connectors, fittings and terminals, suspension and long rod insulators, post line and pin insulators and surge arresters.
