DAIKIN-POLYFLON PTFE LDW-40 is an aqueous dispersion of low molecular weight PTFE. LDW-40 doesn't fibrillate by compressive shear force since the molecular weight is low. LDW-40 is recommended for use as an additive in aqueous paints to increase water repellency, as a lubricant on metal surfaces, and as a performance additive in release agents to increase lubricity.
