KETJENFLEX® 6 is a toluene sulfonamide based plasticizer used in Plastics, Inks, Adhesives and Coatings. Description and Application KETJENFLEX® 6 is used as a special plasticizer in Plastics, Ink, Adhesive and Coating formulations. KETJENFLEX® 6 effectively plasticizes many resin systems including nitrocellulose, polyamide, PVAC, rosin, epoxy, polyurethane, cellulose acetate and various biopolymers. Another area of use is as starting material in the preparation melamine/urea formaldehyde based laminates as well as reactive plasticizer in epoxy and polyurethane resins. KETJENFLEX® 6 is used up to 5g/l as brightening agent in metal plating processes reducing tensile stress and improving brightness and gloss. |
