HD1090 is an injection moulding grade of High Density Polyethylene with a good balance between flow and impact resistance. HD1090 is intended for use in production of mouldings such as sealant cartridges, pails, crates and closures. Addition of a UV stabilizer should be considered where the intended application involves intermittent to extended exposure to sunlight. Suitability for use in any application should be determined by appropriate performance testing. HD1090 is suitable for food contact applications and conforms to the requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration CFR 21 177.1520, paragraph (c) item 3.1.
