TechnoFiber products are long glass fibre reinforced thermoplastics made by TechnoCompound GmbH. These raw materials are fashioned into so-called tailor-made compounds upon customer specifications. Nearly all partly crystalline and amorphous thermoplastics can be used as thermoplastic matrix. Our long glass fibre products are predestined for the manufacturing of components, which are exposed to extreme mechanical stress - as well as to high temperatures - which until recently were made of light-weight metal or thermo-set plastics. The long glass fibre reinforced tubular pellets with a diameter of approx. 2-3 mm are available in lengths of 10, 15 and 20 mm. Fibre and pellet are of the same length. The pultrusion technology applied by TechnoCompound coats each glass fibre filament with a polymer matrix and joins fibre and matrix. |
