Synthos EPS®/CZ types 0308S, 0513S, 0814S and 1020S are expandable polystyrene (EPS) formed by spherical polystyrene particles that contains a hydrocarbon blowing agent. The material is surface treated against gluing during processing and the formation of electrostatic charge. Synthos EPS® 0308S/CZ (Koplen 0308S) is mainly used for production of shaped parts with wall thickness less than 10 mm (e.g. shipping packaging for glass and electrical goods). |
