MD 0898-1 is a black, high molecular weight MDPE co-polymer, developed as a general purpose extrusion resin for use in wire & cable applications. MD 0898-1 has been designed for uses as a jacketing compound for buried wires and cables where abrasion resistance and cut-through resistance in rocky terrain is required. It can also be used for line-wire and drop-wire applications in a wide range of environments. Suitability for use in any application should be determined by appropriate performance testing. MD 0898-1 meets the requirements of the Telecommunications cables - Insulation, sheath and jacket standards AS 1049 - 1996. MD 0898-1 is suitable for food contact applications and conforms to the requirements of AS2070. |
